Let’s Talk about Movie #2 : Be with you

Has anyone watched this movie?

This movie tittled “Be with you”. It’s a Korean Movie that has been released in 2018, starred by Son Ye-jin and Seo Ji-sub. I watched this last night and this movie was completely made my face was flooded by tears. I was trully crying around 130 min within this movie duration. I will saying that this is the saddest movie I’ve ever watched (beside Mirracle in Cell No.7). 

The prologue of this movie was pretty sad, showed that an amazing illustration book and the story telling by Son Ye-jin. The book is about the Little Penguin’s mom that always crying in the Cloudland, watching his son playing alone in the earth. One day, she was given a permission to go to the earth and play with her son. She was really happy. She took the earliest train to meet her son. Her son also really happy has a chance to play with his mom again. However, his mom only can stay with him during the rainy season. She must go to the Cloudland again before the last cloud leave.

This is only the beginning story of this movie. The actual story of the Little Penguin and his mom is begin through this illustration book that Son Ye-jin (mom) was read. And yep! In the begining of this movie, Son Ye-jin was dead (I mean go to the Cloudland), leaving her son and her husband in very sadly life. Furthermore, this movie also talks about first love, how Son ye-jin and Seo ji-sub falling in love, and also why she also must go to the Cloudland. Their chemistry was incredibly fascinating. I love their interaction in their little family, makes this movie more reliable. One of my favorite scene is when the family going picnic to the park and playing wih water in a river. It was really happy, yet also gives the very sad vibes.

100/10 for this movie!!!
