Let’s Talk about Movie #1 : Mystic Pop-up Bar
Have you guys watched Mystic Pop-up Bar?
It’s a Korean Drama with 12 episodes anad each episode has about 50-60 mins. Generally, this drama is about a girl named Wolju that has been doing her punishment because she killed herself in a sacred tree. She should running a pop-up bar to settled up about 100000 grudges by entering the customer dreams who has grudges. She has been doing this for about 500 years.
So many things happened on her and also her business partner, Manager Gwi. They were having a hard time to settle up people’s grudges because of her temperament. She’s always easily getting angry when people talk about their problem. Yeah, she’s a little bit judgemental regarding people that is problematic. They need 9 more to settled up, but no one come to talk their problem in that bar. Until one day, a guy with a unique power come to the bar with his friends that has a problem in their office. Only with a touch from this guy named Han Kang Bae, the girl suddenly speaks about her problem. After that, Wolju gives her magical drink to the girl. The girl suddenly slept and Wolju entering her dreams and settled up her problem through her dreams. Knowing the unique power of Kang Bae, Wolju forced him to doing part time in her bar.
One by one people’s grudges has been settled up. So many things happens, also the never ending plot twist came in this drama. I will rate this drama 9.5/10 since it gives mixed feeling, such as comedy, romance, and also sad story. I love how they build up their chemistry episode by episode, scene by scene, and ending with such a mesmerize happy ending.
